realme has officially announced a date for the launch of its upcoming lineup, the realme 11 series. The lineup will first be launched in China on 10 May at 4 PM, which is expected to consist of three devices, namely the realme 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Plus.
The company has not officially revealed any specs yet regarding the series, but we have seen some reported leaks that may clue us in on what we can expect from the new phones. Some specs of the realme 11 Pro Plus have already been seen on TENAA and the brand even posted a teaser poster that shows a big circular camera island on the back.
Leakster Digital Chat Station suggested that the listed 2.6 GHz CPU for the phone might be one of the new MediaTek Dimensity 7000-series chipsets. Additionally, it will sport a 6.7-inch 1080p AMOLED display with curved sides. Other internal specs include up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, with the phone weighing in at 183g.
As for the cameras, the 11 Pro Plus will reportedly carry three sensors made up of a 200MP primary camera, which could be the Samsung ISOCELL HP3, an 8MP ultra-wide, and an additional 2MP sensor. Battery-wise, it is expected to rock a 5,000mAh batter with two charging variants, one with 80W charging and another with 100W charging.
On the other hand, the vanilla realme 11 is expected to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC as well sporting a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. Moreover, the phone will offer support for 33W fast charging and 5G connectivity. There are also claims that it will feature a 64MP main camera.
As for the 11 Pro, there is even less information about it. For now, the only rumours about the phone are that it will have a 108MP primary lens and a 2MP secondary sensor as well as support for 67W fast charging.
