Over a dozen locations for Ramadan bazaars allowed in KK

KOTA KINABALU: Ramadan bazaars in the city here are full of life once again and are being allowed to operate again after two years’ hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Kota Kinabalu City Hall (DBKK) has allocated over a dozen locations for these bazaars to operate from now until May 2.

The locations were Asia City, Lintasan Deasoka (Jalan Gaya), Indah Permai, Sembulan, Tanjung Aru, night markets in Inanam, Inanam Point, Manggatal, Kingfisher, boardwalk area behind the Marriott Hotel, University Apartment, Wisma Merdeka, Taman Putera Jaya, Metro Town, Wawasan Plaza, and Bataras Kolombong.

According to the DBKK website, bazaars can open daily throughout the fasting month from 2pm to 7pm.

A few parking areas are also allowed to be used for bazaars in Lintasan Deasoka, Indah Permai, Tanjung Aru (Daily Express building area), Sembulan and near the markets in Menggatal and Kingfisher from 1pm to 7.30pm.

All visitors are reminded to adhere to standard operating procedures and to check in using their MySejahtera app when visiting.
