Taipei’s natural landscape, diverse culture and lifestyle offerings set to entice MICE events and delegates

For example, The Grand Hotel, which is the first five-star hotel in Taiwan, is housed in one of the world’s tallest Chinese classical buildings, and has witnessed many of Taiwan’s history and demographic changes. The 500 room hotel also includes multiple meeting spaces with The Grand Ballroom accommodating up to 1,000 delegates. In recent years, the Taipei Performing Arts Center and Taipei Pop Music Center have become Taipei’s arts and cultural hub. The Taipei Performing Arts Center was selected by Time Magazine as one of the world’s top 100 attractions in 2021. MICE event organizers may be eligible to apply for event sponsorship through the Department’s support scheme. Eligible applicants who meet the criteria may receive up to NT$2 million to stage an international MICE event in Taipei.

Taipei is one of the most welcoming cities in the world with friendly locals hailing from diverse backgrounds. Taipei City won the 2023 Crescent Rating “Most Promising Muslim-Friendly City Destination of the Year (Non-Organization of Islamic Cooperation).
