Chinese cyber security companies shine at CYDES 2025, working with regional partners to build a digital security barrier in Southeast Asia

From July 1 to 3, the third Malaysia National Cyber Defense and Security Exhibition and Conference (CYDES 2025) was held at the Putrajaya International Convention Center. Leading Chinese cybersecurity companies, including QiAnXin Group and TianJi Partners, were invited to this ASEAN cybersecurity event. They showcased their innovative achievements and global service capabilities in Chinas cybersecurity sector through forward-looking risk assessments and practical security solutions, contributing to the development of the ASEAN and global cybersecurity ecosystem.

1. The network defense system debuted in Southeast Asia
At the conference, Qianxin systematically demonstrated its security protection capabilities in key infrastructure sectors such as energy, transportation, and finance. Its customized SOC, Tianyan, and Tianqing product solutions have been implemented in many countries and regions around the world, helping customers build a layered defense system and improve network resilience and emergency response capabilities.

At the China Special Forum, Gu Liang, Deputy Director of QianPangu Threat Intelligence Lab, was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled “AI Empowering National Security Operations Centers (SOC) to Proactively Hunt Exchange Anti-Serialization Attacks.” He exclusively revealed the latest tactics of the APT group Night Eagle (internal code name: APT-Q-95). Gu provided a detailed overview of Night Eagles operational methods, target industries, and the risks it poses to global critical infrastructure. He emphasized the crucial role of international cooperation and intelligence sharing in combating advanced persistent threats (APTs).

2. Global threat intelligence enables digital asset security
At the conference, Tianji Alliance demonstrated its leading risk intelligence ecological service capability, demonstrating the global high-risk situation through a network map. Its DRP digital risk protection platform can accurately identify risks such as fake domain names and data leakage, helping enterprises to achieve “minute-level” risk disposal.

When serving Chinese clients, Tianji Youmeng has observed that rapidly growing enterprises often face security breaches involving intellectual property and trade data when participating in the global industrial chain. These breaches not only result in direct economic losses but also lead to targeted cybersecurity and data security audits for their key international clients, potentially resulting in economic sanctions. Such sanctions can cause even more significant market losses or even devastating impacts. ASEAN companies are currently experiencing rapid growth and are integrating into the global industrial chain at an accelerated pace. The likelihood of similar risks increases in the future, making it crucial for ASEAN companies to prioritize digital security and protect their critical digital assets!

3. AI-driven security
This is the first time Qianxin Network Security Company is participating in the Cyber Defense and Security Exhibition (CYDES 2025), said Gu Liang, a spokesperson for Qianxin, in an interview. The exhibition is organized by Malaysias National Security Council and the National Cybersecurity Agency, with the Deputy Prime Minister presiding over the opening ceremony and engaging in on-site exchanges with exhibitors, highlighting the Malaysian government and enterprises strong emphasis on cybersecurity

He believes that Malaysia is a potential and attractive market in Southeast Asia. Qianxin hopes to further expand its business in Southeast Asia through this exhibition, and with its outstanding technical strength and high-quality security services, work with regional partners to build a solid ASEAN cyber security defense line.

As the cybersecurity landscape becomes increasingly challenging, the goal of security protection has shifted from detection to zero false positives. However, with millions of security alerts daily, traditional methods struggle to conduct in-depth analysis and assessment of these vast amounts of alerts due to limited human resources. Artificial intelligence (AI) has transcended the limitations of human effort and efficiency, leveraging robust computing power and continuously trained judgment capabilities to significantly enhance the efficiency of security engineers. Through high-quality training data, AIs functions and performance are continually optimized, resulting in a hundreds-of-fold improvement in security capabilities.

The AI-driven security capabilities enable more precise risk detection, faster incident investigation, more comprehensive emergency response, and reduced reliance on human resources, ushering in a new era of automated cybersecurity operations for security analysts. From the users perspective, high-sensitivity data is securely stored in a trusted environment, preventing leaks, cross-border transmission, or misuse, thereby enhancing user confidence and eliminating concerns.

Qianxin Group (QiAnXin stock code: 688561.SH) ranks first in China among the worlds top 500 cybersecurity companies, providing comprehensive security solutions to governments, financial institutions, and energy companies across 135 countries and regions.
