Warisan confirms they will take part in Johor polls

JOHOR BARU: Parti Warisan has finally announced that they will be taking part in the upcoming Johor polls.

This means the party will be making their electoral debut in Peninsular Malaysia.

Party president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal (pic) made the announcement during the launch of Johor Warisan at a restaurant in Taman Sutera here on Tuesday (Feb 15) night.

“If an Umno leader can come from Bagan Datoh, a PKR leader from Permatang Pauh, what is wrong if a Warisan government comes from Sabah?” he asked the crowd attending the event.

Nominations for the Johor election has been set for Feb 26 and polling is on March 12.
