Samsung has just last month released the Galaxy A54, A34 and A14, and it looks like another model will be joining the lineup soon. Specifically, the Samsung Galaxy A24, which saw a some parts of its spec sheet getting leaked back in January. The South Korean tech giant has begun listing the support pages for the phone on its websites, including the one for the local market.
Searching for the phone in question will return three pages, all of them with the model number of SM-A245F/DSN. Unfortunately, these pages are themselves pretty barren, so they don’t really do much in terms of confirming previously leaked specs of the Samsung Galaxy A24. That being said, there are a couple of things that can be gleamed from them. One is that there will likely be three different colour variants coming to our shores, and the other being that the phone will not be coming with 5G support.
On the subject of specs, said previous leak pointed at the Samsung Galaxy A24 coming with a 6.24-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate,a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging. For its cameras, it is said to be equipped with a 50MP primary + 5MP wide angle + 2MP macro shooter combo at the back. In front, it is said to come with a 13MP secondary camera. It’s a very incomplete picture, and one we’re stuck with until more details emerge.
For now, despite the support page listing, there’s no word on when Samsung intends to launch the Galaxy A24 just yet. Previous reports pointed at India being the country to be getting the phone first, and there’s no official date for that just yet. With that it mind, it will likely be a significant wait before the phone gets announced locally, and become available on shelves.
