IPOH: A man died and seven others sustained injuries in an accident involving three vehicles in Gerik.

A spokesman from the Perak Fire and Rescue Department said the department received a distress call at 4.42pm on Sunday (Feb 6) involving the accident on KM34 near Tasik Banding.

The accident involved a trailer, a car and a motorcycle.

The deceased has been identified as Nor Amin Mohamad Ismail, 37, the driver of the trailer.

Those injured are the driver’s 38-year-old assistant, a family in the car including a husband, wife and their three children aged between five and eight, and the motorcyclist.

The injured have been sent to the Gerik hospital to seek treatment.
