During the tail end of last year, prominent smartphone industry leakster Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks, claimed that there will be two Motorola Razr models this year. These were at the time even codenamed Juno and Venus. Now, the claim is looking more and more likely to be accurate, as another leakster has made similar claims over the weekend.
This time, the industry leakster in question is Steve H.McFly, or known on Twitter as @OnLeaks, who has shared renders of the supposed Motorola Razr Lite to MySmartPrice. Though these new renders look very different to what the leakster has shown before. Comparing to what the leakster has shown before back in February, the external display is clearly different, with the newer one looking a lot smaller. The new renders also show the inside screen a lot more clearly, complete with a punch hole cutout for the front-facing camera. The only consistent element between the two – besides being clamshell foldables – are the two cameras.
It’s possible that these two sets of renders are depicting two different phones. And since the new claim is that there are two models of the Motorola Razr 2023, this can still be true. The report notes that there will be a Lite and a Plus model, though the company may officially market the former as the base model. Should this be the case, then the larger outer display may be reserved for said Plus version of the phone.
So… Today, I can reveal #Motorola isn’t going to launch 1 but 2 #Razr phones this year!
And here comes ur very 1st look at this flip phone which I assume will be unveiled as vanilla #Razr2023 or more likely #MotorolaRazrLite!

All that being said, the report ends by stating that the new set of renders “are based on low-quality, real-life pictures of a testing stage prototype”. Which is another way of saying don’t be surprised if the actual commercial version of either Motorola Razr models end up looking different. Though to be fair, this should always be the approach when dealing with leaks anyway.
