PETALING JAYA: A lorry ran over a motorcyclist near Port Klang, leading to his death.

In a statement on Tuesday (March 8), Selangor Traffic Police Enforcement and Investigation Department chief Supt Azman Shariat said that the accident occurred at Westport Tuesday afternoon.

“Investigations showed that the motorcyclist was attempting to overtake from the back but failed when attempting to avoid an object on the road.

“The victim fell and was ran over by a lorry that was on the right side of the road. A post mortem will be conducted.
