Johor polls: Stand united, avoid past mistakes that could jeopardise chances of victory, Tok Mat tells party members

MUAR: Barisan Nasional must stand united and not repeat any past mistakes that could jeopardise its chances of winning the Johor election, says Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan (pic).

“If we want to win, we need to act like we want to win. Let go of any other personal gains and focus on winning the election.

“Do not repeat our past mistakes. If we can do that, nothing can stop us from winning the election.

“There should not be any internal conflicts among us. In the past election, conflicts and sabotages had resulted in our losses. Do not repeat the same thing,” said Mohamad Hassan, who is also the Barisan director for the state election.

He said this during the launch of Barisan Nasional northern Johor election machinery held at the Komplels Pekermbar Pagoh here.

Also present were Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong and MIC vice-president M. Asojan.
